ALL OUTDOOR POP-UPS UTILIZING TENTS MUST USE ATTACHED WEIGHTS AT ALL TIMES—NO EXCEPTIONS!
To guarantee that all pedestrians, wheelchairs + vision—impaired members of the community have enough space to safely use the sidewalk, we ask that tents or canopies set up on the sidewalk be previously approved by the brick and mortar business, to insure there is plenty clearance on the sidewalk.
Event Weather Policy
Events go on rain or shine. Discover Clintonville is committed to providing a safe outdoor space where vendors can reliably connect to customers.Â
If inclement weather should occur, DC staff will make decisions to change event times based on weather reports and on-site event conditions.Â
Discover Clintonville managers have the authority to close an event early, open an event late, or cancel an event due to severe or inclement weather.Â
Discover Clintonville participants will be notified of the change in a timely manner by email and/or WhatsApp. During inclement weather events, it is up to the individual participants to decide whether to work the event or not. Absences due to hazardous or severe weather (other than rain) will not count against participants' attendance record.Â
